I'd say this was my first big break in the industry. I was really close to calling it quits cause I'd spent a little over a year in LA and probably worked for about one of those months. Every waking minute I was pumping out new pieces to add to my showreel or cold-emailing studios offering up what I could do. Unfortunately the economy was still pretty slow and jobs were scarce. That is until I got a call from Reel-FX.

They asked me to move to Dallas and work as a modeling apprentice on a day of the dead film by Jorge Guiterrez, called The Book of Life. I was so excited! This would be a long term gig and on a feature!

One of the highlights is that I am forever memorialized in the art of book.
